Carolina Adventure World was host to the 1st annual MUD JAM on Saturday, November 8, 2008.  The MUD JAM, sponsored by CAN-AM and Yamaha, handed out over $5,500 in cash and trophies.

CAN-AM and Yamaha demo rigs were on hand with 2008 units for park attendees to enjoy free demo rides. Vendors and spectators enjoyed a sunny fall day that included 18 races of mud action.

There were 47 racers in 6 classes of mud slinging 4 wheeling. In the Side By Side (RUV) class, First place went to Scott Harless- Team Mud ATV, second place winner was Trey Johnson- Team Mud ATV.  Third place was captured by Michael Fleming- Muddmaster ATV.

Another event at CAW will be held on Dec. 13. CAW is hosting an ATV Poker Run sponsored by Lake Norman Power Sports.  There will be prizes and cash given for the best poker hand and in other drawings.
