Arctic Cat has just released the newest weapon in the war on boredom. UTV world, say hello to the new and improved Prowler H1, XTX 700. The new XTX is built on the platform of the already famous Prowler H1 XT but they have tweaked and added a few new features.
The new XTX got some help in the design room from Arctic Cat’s Team riders in the WPSA tour. They found that the suspension on the Thundercat was superb, so bringing this style suspension onto the new XTX was a must. The XTX sits 1â€â€ˆlower than the 650 XT, giving it more stability through turns and cornering.
Perhaps the biggest improvement on the new XTX comes with its 695cc dual overhead cam, four-valve, single-cylinder engine. The new XTX also ditched its old carburetted system and went with fuel saving EFI management.
Cosmetically the first thing that jumps out at you about the new XTX is the shiny new silver paint job. The XTX also offers its owner the stylings of new cast aluminum 14†wheels and 26×8-14 Goodyear MTR front tires and 26×11-14 Goodyear MTRs in the rear for maximum traction and looks.
