Damzl Powder Puff Race
M.O.R.E (Mohave Off-Road Enthusiast) and ROYAL PURPLE Synthetic Oils are proud to announce the 3rd annual Powder Puff race for the cure. Proceeds and donations acquired from this event will benefit Cedar Sinai Womens Breast Cancer Research Center.
This years grand prise Raffle was Donated by the YAMAHA corporation. A RHINO 700 FYI 4×4
This year’s event will take place in sunny Barstow California October 10th – 11th 2008. There will be a BBQ after the race Hamburgers, Hot dog, Chili, and who knows along with dancing under the stars in the dirt everyone’s welcome. Yes this is an all Ladies driving and co-driving event , all the hobby’s will be giving there all too pit support. All the pit support clubs Acme, Checkers, Fair. There are just too many to list will be donating pit support for ANY lady that needs help. Ladies may also pull into any pit at any time for help.
This event is not a trip to the grocery store it is a Full out RACE. Come out and meet the Ladies that drive these machines they are the greatest some are new to driving and there are those that race all the time and they are great. The Off Road Community has come together to support the fight against Breast cancer, we are growing ever year and plain on doing so until we find the cure. Please come out and support this Great Cause.
All drivers and co-drivers will be required to attend tech safety inspection, where ARTS will inspect all vehicles, fire-suits, and helmets for safety compliance. Actual race will begin on Saturday October 11th 2008. All vehicles will run a 20 mile loop maybe more??? and compete with vehicles split in 2 heats. Please come to Contingency on Friday to meet all the drivers and Contingency Sponsors for if it were not for them there would be no off road racing as we have come too know and love the sport.
A new race class for SideXSide UTV’S. All UTV’S must pass tech inspection with all the other classes. M.O.R.E will be using the BITD UTV regulations. For those of you who are not familiar with UTV racing please visit www.utvracingassociation.com for a quick brush up on safety regulations.
