The Kolpin UTV Basket is a great alternative to taking up precious bed space when transporting smaller items. The assembled dimensions of 7” x 7” x 36” also provide clearance for your UTV dump box.
The Kolpin UTV Basket is made of heavy-duty steel and safely holds up to 35 lbs, making it ideal for storing small items such as gloves, tools, tow straps, and anything else needed to get the job done. Compatible with most UTV models, the Kolpin UTV Basket easily attaches to the rear mesh or center roll bar tubing on an UTV. The new Kolpin UTV Basket (model 53200) will be available beginning January 2007.
Our Thoughts:
This product is great for those looking to store more without taking up room in the bed. The basket was lighter than I had expected which was nice concidering it mounts about shoulder high on your unit. We were able to mount the basket on a Yamaha Rhino 660 and an Arctic Cat Prowler with no problems.
Plus: Low cost, easy to install and fits most UTVs on the market.
Minus: Mounting hardware is rough on the powdercoat
